महिला आरक्षण बिल सदन में पारित, सदन में बढ़ेगी महिलाओं की भागीदारी

News Desk: बुद्धवार को कैबिनेट में नारी शक्ति वंदन (महिला आरक्षण विधेयक) मंजूरी दे दी है। 33 परसेंट आरक्षण के हिसाब से लोकसभा में 27 और विधानसभा में 134 सीटें महिलाओं के खाते में जाएंगी। महिला आरक्षण बिल का यूपी में बड़ा असर दिखेगा। यूपी में लोकसभा की 80 सीट और विधानसभा की 403 सीट है। अभी यूपी से 11 महिला सांसद हैं जो 80 सीटों का 14 फीसद है। जो आरक्षण के बाद 24 सीटों पर पहुँच जाएंगी।

तो वहीं यूपी में महिला विधायकों की संख्या 48 है। जो अब आरक्षण के बाद संख्या 130 हो जाएगी। महिला आरक्षण बिल को लेकर कांग्रेस अलग से ओबीसी कोटा की मांग कर रही है सदन में बोलते हुए सोनिया गांधी ने कहा कि महिला आरक्षण बिल में अन्य पिछड़ा वर्ग की महिलाओं की भी भागीदारी अलग से तय की जानी चाहिए। पीएम द्वारा बुलाये गए विशेष सत्र में केंद्रीय कानून मंत्री अर्जुन राम मेघवाल ने सदन में पेश किया। सदन में पेश बिल के विपक्ष में कुल 454 सदस्यों ने मतदान किया, बिल के खिलाफ मात्र दो मत पड़े हैं।

There are 80 Lok Sabha seats and 403 assembly seats in UP. Currently there are 11 women MPs from UP which is 14 percent of 80 seats. Which will reach 24 seats after reservation.

So the number of women MLAs in UP is 48. Now after reservation the number will become 130. Congress is demanding a separate OBC quota regarding the Women's Reservation Bill. Speaking in the House, Sonia Gandhi said that the participation of women from other backward classes should also be decided separately in the Women's Reservation Bill. Union Law Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal presented it in the House in the special session called by the PM. A total of 454 members voted against the bill presented in the House, only two votes were cast against the bill.
