1. Fulbright-Nehru Fellowship
This scholarship is available for post graduation courses. This scholarship is given by the United States-India Education Foundation (USIEF).
Scholarship Eligibility - For this, the student must have a Bachelor's degree (four years course according to US) and three years of work experience. This work experience should be in the same field in which the student wants to do post graduation. Apart from this, highlight in your application about leadership, community service, communication skills, contribution to nation building and your motivation to study.
Expenses Covered - The scholarship will cover tuition fee, airfare (economy), test books and living stipend.
Scholarships are available for these courses - Scholarships are awarded for studies in the fields of Arts and Culture, Environmental Science, International Legal Studies, Public Health, Gender Studies, Urban and Regional Planning and Public Administration.

2. Tata Scholarship
Tata Scholarship is given for undergraduate courses. However, it is only offered to Indian students for undergraduate courses at Cornell University.
Scholarship Eligibility - For this, it is mandatory for the student to be an Indian citizen. This is a need-based scholarship and is available only for studies at Cornell University.
Expenses Covered - This scholarship, offered by the Tata Education Aid Development Trust, covers tuition fees, living expenses, food, medical and travel expenses for up to eight semesters. In courses longer than eight semesters, further expenses have to be borne by the student.
Area of Study - This scholarship is only available to students taking admission in College of Architecture and Planning, College of Engineering, The Applied Economics and Management Major in College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, Biological Sciences, Physical Sciences, Hard Sciences and Social Sciences .
How to Apply - Application for this scholarship starts in October/November. In December it becomes clear who has been allotted the scholarship.
